Silence Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Silence

Rating: 4.7

The silence in the noise

What would you rather have?
Pretentions just to behave?
Or to have the truth out in the open?
Some people lie all too often
Causing unnecessary energy
Causing even an allergy
The truth never changes
Doesn't matter who gets the rages
But, once the truth is known
People make decisions of their own

The sun rises in the east, sets in the west
That is true no matter your quest
We need air to breathe
But, we can live without a breeze
These are facts and we live with them
Even other things in life are the same
It is not what you believe to be true is the truth
Between your beliefs and truth is the truce
The point at which forces of nature support you
If forces of nature do not support you start anew

Manufactured consent is just that
If you take it as truth you fall flat
Find the real truth even in a rose
It might be the silence in the noise

Silence, we sometimes are when we should vent, some people use it as a tool to hurt others, Our changing world, what happened to silence is golden. I also want to say many thanks for you reading, and kind words about my poems. Tom Maxwell

Very true words What you see might not be true an illusion we all witness in circus or even a white like which is collection of seven light wavelength an accidental discovery by Newton. I too believe in the silence which is compact storage of noise often meaningful if we heed to hear. Volumes unspoken seems to reflect just need to be attended. A very good poetry.

'The silence in the noise What would you rather have? Pretentions just to behave? Or to have the truth out in the open? ' truth is for honest hearts honest souls, do not seek tongue on a politicians tongue, seek truth in people who seldom mistake err, yet take responsibility for all social problems, these are peacemakers who heal what is wrong, praise beauty wisdom which blesses decisions right
