Shark Called Passion Poem by Amy Marie

Shark Called Passion

The shark called Passion
Loves me.
She
Lets her snowy fin of fun
Sail around my bowl of a tub.

Won't look at me.
Blankly
I
Stare into the pool called a tub
And watch the shark sail away:

With
My
Stillness.

I may
Never

Lay eyes
On it

Again.

Amy, why did you stop writing? This is your newest poem, submitted almost three years ago! I hope you are still around and doing well. Please write some more!

Thank you for your comment. I just saw it today and I hope you're doing well too. I actually am still writing and hope to some day publish books of poems, but have been busy with school

Won't look at me. Blankly I Stare into the pool called a tub And watch the shark sail away: tinged with blue.....nice metaphor of restrictive life choices and our diminishing environs...loved it cheers
