Season Spent Where Do Tulip Memories Go? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Season Spent Where Do Tulip Memories Go?

Rating: 5.0

tulips like love
should be more than
spectral bloom fleeting flowers

tulips like true love
should last longer than
a single fade ephemeral season

tulips like memories
should be mind sacred life
vibrant glow warm enduring

tulips like love
a taste exquisite chocolate
delicate in receptive heart melting

tulips like love
so many differing feelings
spark flower into hue elevated ecstasy

tulips like love
grow tender undaunted daily
tulips loved in brevity season

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Rose Marie Juan-austin 18 September 2020

I concur with the wonderful thoughts of the Poet. Tulips, though an ephemeral plant, . its enchanting beauty that touch the heart will be remembered forever like the memories brought about by true love. A beautiful poem. Thank you, Terence, for the dedication. I feel honored that this poem has been woven out from the fiber of my poem entitled; Your Love Is Like The Briefness Of Tulips.

very well penned poem, poignant and bland, it is a masterpiece, re-creation amazingly of one of Rose's poem, here we can feel the romance and beauty of love but we can't touch it, that is always the style of the great poets, the readers feeling as they have written it, brilliant 10++
