Saying No Poem by soren Barrett

Saying No

A boundary whether made of words or stone, marks what is one's very own
A barrier protects each cell
Drawing a line in the sand makes us responsible and in command
Telling you who you are as well
Proper bounds increases intimacy as well as deters dependency
Limits require honesty, trust and communication
Without boundaries we are lost, avoiding them due to fear is a terrible cost
They bring respect to any relation
