Saving

We talked of the CONVID
Exchanging our views,
Awareness and knowledge
About the USA to Iran, Canada.

Places where we live or belong,
And have been, are involved…

We shared the news of
Relatives, coming out of Iran…

Exact same are words on
Reactions in Iran:
"Nobody is hoarding,
No attack on the shops! "

Are we more civilised?
Do we care far beyond…?

We wondered and questioned:
"Can it be thanks to war? "

I listened, let him talk:
"Partly yes to above
And partly is because
Iranians save in life,
They live for tomorrow! "

I wondered at the end! ?

"Living for tomorrow? "
So, asked him and he said:
"We never live full life,
Always leave the today
For coming tomorrows! "

Far away he and I,
Silently and polite,
At myself, I smiled:
"This is how I have been,
I, never accomplished…! "
