How long have I been waiting for you here on this threshold
Curses on my slumber I fell into just before you appeared
I could feel the warmth of your breath on my forehead
By the time I woke up and opened my eyes you disappeared
The sound of your steps is vibrating my strings playing melodies
My heart is dancing to the tune of that music in extreme ecstasies
Come, grant me the boon I have been longing for in all my births
Pour into this bowl I hold before thee a drop of bliss fromthy heavens
Tickled by the playful sea breeze the green leaves jiggle and
The stir appears to me as the sound of your approaching steps
Their broken whispers sounds like your calling me in gentle voice
My poor heart beats faster eager to catch sight of your charming form
Like the drop of water that rolls downstream to join the sea afar
My soul has been in incessant journey to reach thy blissful realms
My thirst for dissolving in you is formidable, greet this little drop too
Into thytranquil sea of sacred truth, eternal peace and sublime beauty
