Repairing Us Poem by Peter Andersen

Repairing Us

Rating: 5.0

In the hush of sundowns glow,
Hearts converge in silent woe,
Mine, a vessel, torn apart,
Yours, a shadow, seeking start.

In the vastness of the night,
I crush my own to set yours right,
Reaching for your healing touch,
In this world, we love so much.

With every tear, a hope is born,
In breaking, we are not forlorn,
In the mending of your soul,
We find our purpose, make us whole.

Let us live with fervent zest,
In brokenness, we are blessed,
For in the forgotten remnants of your heart,
Lies the path of life's restart.
