Red H. Valley Poem by Thomas Plotz

Red H. Valley

Morning, I swam

In the creek

With him,

On hot,
Hot days

Cooling off

With cold

Mountain water,

In the afternoon

We walked, the dirt road

Saw, red rocks,

Then waited,
For the mail,

Evening skies

Heavens illumined

With gleaming glow,

God's presents known,

Looking over,
Seeing you smile
