Pushed Into No Retreat Corner Poem by Terence George Craddock

Pushed Into No Retreat Corner

Rating: 5.0

when push comes to shove
does it matter who does the pushing
who receives the shoving?

it does to those receiving the shoving
severity of aggressive shoving counts
aggressiveness cruelty threatening...

continuity invariability
inescapable aggression
is constant shell shock daily

hourly minutely raw nerve wearing
upon frayed out worn out stressed out nerves
until point of explosion implosion

push a person past
past point of no return
past point of hope

push into no retreat corner
entering paranoia rage fear
even the worm will turn

even the good will come out fighting
all pushed past break point of hope
should come out survival fighting?

only the brave can reclaim dignity
if possessing ability to defeat bully
fragile minds fracture into insanity?

even the strongest minds wills
can be broken pushed into mud
when life circumstances pushed

past breaking point
past point of no return
broken into oblivion
