Peel the skin off your body
Walk that extra mile
And
Rest your trembling frame.

You kill the blatant bane
Shake the dust off your feet
Bathe in other suns
And
Invent the new imperative.

You absorb the radiant flux
Spurn the inglorious empire
Scratch your eyes right off
And
Stand in your own power.

You own your own history
Global leader of tomorrow
Jump aboard a valid meaning
And
Set your hand to the plough.
