Pride. An Acrostic Exercise. Poem by Mike Berriman

Pride. An Acrostic Exercise.

Rating: 5.0

Pride we carry, one and all
Remember this frailty before our fall
Idolatry of self, a deadly sin
Destroys humility of that within
Egos; misplaced, where to begin.

the end line makes you think it is a question to all who read it.. but, maybe that's how it comes over to me..and it is true we should perhaps have some pride but, not enough that it overshadows others or makes our head grow too big so we can't fit through any door.. and I hope you don't mind my thoughts...
