Poets Writers Literary People Love Poetry Poem by Terence George Craddock

Poets Writers Literary People Love Poetry

it is rare for a poet to marry a poet
it is even more rare for a famous poet
in any age to marry a famous poet
Robert Browning secretly married
Elizabeth Barrett Browning in 1846
both were inspiring gifted famous poets
Sylvia Plath married Ted Hughes in 1956
Sylvia first book in 1960 became famous

Hughes first book published in 1957
both became famous poets after marriage
many people read poetry from books
many people read poetry from poetry sites
people look up famous poets and poets
on google various poetry internet sites

there are sites like poemhunter.com
a few comment comments multiply
mainly active poets comment on this site
some write more some comment more
the poem 'Who Reads Poets? ' addresses
what seems obvious poets not wives
husbands relatives or friends comment
the most this is normal we poets have

an interest in poetry normally they do not
