Poetry Bestows Upon You Itself

Poetry Bestows Upon You Itself
Md Mozaffor Hossain

To me, I retort as I can surmise from inhaled time,
You cannot strive for creation, poetry for instance
For, it lies beyond the palpable ability humans own.
But they come to you, love to get revealed through you.

Those of humans we venerate as great
Duly they deserve, and in commensurate we pay homage.
But humans, they are just like anyone.
Only greatness itself bestows on them some of its magnanimities.

If you ask me for the veracity as to what I deduce,
I cannot serve things that others belong to.
But I can deploy my own discernment as I live.
All my trying and attempts do fail in no fruits.

In creativity, I am talking about, like, in poetry
Can one engender poetry? For how celestial it is!
But one can only invoke, pray and beseech,
And heaven, as poetry is, might pick him as a rare one.
