Perceive A Trustworthy Character Gauge Poem by Terence George Craddock

I have never liked sweeping statements

as generalizations where everyone
within a specific group is tarred
with the same brush

people are individuals
we are meant to be

we are supposed to think
to reason for ourselves

be accountable for our own actions
treating others as we would like
to be treated is a good start

watching how people treat
the lowest members of society

those who can do nothing for us
when no one is looking

provides a good character gauge
