Party Girls Poem by Belle Wassermeister

Party Girls

Rating: 3.4

My friend is lonely as can be,
and I am lonely, too.
If she could come and visit me,
she wouldn't be so blue.

I'd take her out to paint the town*
and we'd stay up all night.
She'd have no chance to wear her frown;
I'd flood her with delight.

When we got back from all that fun,
we'd sleep all that next day,
and, soon as nighttime had begun,
once more we'd go and play!

I sincerely apologize for my father. H writes many foolish things when he is drunk, and goes back and deletes them later when he is sober.

I sincerely hope she shows up, and you both have a blast! ! ! Dancing is so much fun.

Thank you, Dillip. The picture I had was cute, for sure, but didn't really go with this poem.
