Onion Skin Layers Stripped Away Poem by Terence George Craddock

Onion Skin Layers Stripped Away

I wait I make time I listen patiently

as silently sadly
onion skin layers
are stripped away

so often decades
old problems
childhood troubles
trauma stay

locked away
frozen emotions
ice berg deep suppressed

never supplanted
with joy happiness
never resolved erased
