When wind blows I pretend to swim
Through fluffy waves of air
That wash over my blushing cheeks
And toss my tangled hair
Cold rivers swirl into my ears
I fear my thoughts will drown
The current gently tugs my sleeves
And wanders up my gown
My hands reach out to catch a rail
Lest I be swept away
A victim of the viewless tide
That struck one windy day
What an imagination you have! I especially like the line: I fear my thoughts will drown This poem is very well done. Congratulations.
