One Foot Our The Door Poem by Jayne Doe

One Foot Our The Door

Used and abused
I'm someone else's muse
Singing a tune
They are, they are

Of sunshine and roses
While I am eroding
I should think of going
I am, I am

One foot out the door
While the other asks for more
Tango with our souls
We dance, we dance

One misstep after the other
Why do we even bother
When all we do is smother
Our hearts, our hearts

They're broken and fading
While we keep on playing
Only one will be remaining
Me or you, me or you

Why do we even bother When all we do is smother Our hearts, our hearts....//.... The chord of sadness runs through this lovely song. Thanks a lot.
