One Day, She Said Poem by Randy McClave

One Day, She Said

One day you and I will date
Then one day you and I will wed,
Then children will be our happy fate
One day, she said.
You and I will be then as one,
From the sunset unto the dawn.

One day for you I will bake
I will make you some homemade bread,
For you it I will happily make
One day, she said.
I can't wait for you to smell the aroma the scent,
You will swear that it was heaven sent.

One day I will wake up early
I won't still be fast asleep on the bed,
Neither will I be mean, hateful or surly
One day, she said.
She said, "Your loneliness I have known",
But, now you won't be sitting all alone.

One day I will wear that sexy dress
Which of course will be your favorite color red,
To you then my desires I will confess
One day, she said.
But, first I will send you a seductive pic,
You'll call me your adventurous chick.

One day I swear I will confess to the world
Our truth to all I will finally and proudly shed,
That I am your woman, always your girl
One day, she said.
But, until then we are only friends,
Without complications or amends.

One day I swear this or that I will say or do
As my feelings and emotions are read,
You'll then see me finally as new
One day, she said.
Now on the couch as I now sit and lay,
Patiently I am still waiting for that happy day.

Hard to be patient, isn't it? Some people can't keep promises.
