One Day Will Come Poem by Randy McClave

One Day Will Come

Rating: 5.0

We might meet again in this life
But, I know not the next,
No longer do I seek worries andstrife
And until then, just send me a text.
Of course we might meet once again,
But, not in hate, lust or sin.

One day again you will need my help
But, most likely you'll need my cash,
Unlike others you I won't skelp
And never would I treat you like trash.
Once I wanted to be part of a love story,
You the girl, and me the boy.

One day we all will be judged
And everyone will see and hear your cries,
And how stories and situations you uncaringly fudged
As you will again recast all of your lies.
Family, friends and acquaintances will nod their heads,
As your words like a virus spreads.

One day you will seek forgiveness
You will get tired of the lies and the rod,
Finally you will become honest and religious
You will then seek to make peace with your soul and God.
You will finally be caring and kind,
But, then me, you won't be able to find.
