Ode To Victor Hugo (33) his Last Will Poem by Freeyad Ibrahim

Victor Hugo left 5 sentences as his last will:

1- I leave 50,000 Franks for the poor
2-I want to be burried in their hearts
3- I refuse funeral orations of all churches
4- I beg a prayer to all souls
5-I I believe in God.

I suppose the 5 th will as precautionary,
his believe to intensify.
If he had not mentioned the 5 th will,
the church- men might have accused him
of Heresy as they did to other great thinkers
who denied the church,
without confirmation in a public statement!
that they God did glorify.
