Never Growing Up Poem by alyssa carrigan

Never Growing Up

Rating: 4.5

days fly by there blurred falling in and out of conciuosness. my world and theres piece together like a puzzle. stuck between the life i live and the dreams of my world. yesterday i was laying in my dads arms fishing with my tiny pole looking up to him for prsaise with my bright blue eyes filled with wonder and my tiny heart filled with nothing but love. today im sitting here wishing those yesterdays would of never ended. im stuck in this world of responsibilty and hate.looking back to those days my smile never left my lips now it hardly showslost to the world i live in.but in my world i still see the beauty in everything always curiouse always happy for nothing but seeing a puppy. i want my world to never end always be alive in me somewere. bright little eyes, smiling lips, tiny giggles fill my soul as i move on in this ever changing life i live
