To Hitler he said
'To advise me, there is
Mohandas Gandhi,
Don't need yours'.
In the Indian National Army
Formed for liberation of
Hindustan from the alien rule,
There was a 'Gandhi Brigade'.
One may wonder,
why a brigade by Gandhi
Who was against
All Armed Struggles!
But, that was
Subhash Chandra Bose!

In his address over radio
After forming India's
Independent Government
In exile, he addressed Gandhi
'Father of our Nation! '
For the very first time.
And a whole nation
Echoed his humble voice.

And Gandhi called him
'The Prince Among Patriots'.

But, that was
Subhash Chandra Bose!

Subhash Chandra Bose,
The Prince Among Patriots,
And the whole nation
Called him, 'Nataji'.
The Leader of the Nation!
Today is his One Hundred and
Twenty-fifth birth anniversary.

A proud Nation
Remembers him.
