My Task Poem by Ravinder Kumar Soni

My Task

Rating: 5.0

My friend,
Tell me honestly,
Are my thoughts old,
Are they stale,
That I must discard them soon
And conjure fresh ones;
Such as the world has not known
Because without unique thoughts
I am a nobody.
Tell me then,
I wear the same old heart and mind,
Thus equipped
Can I still produce new thoughts?
While languishing deep
in an ancient mire.

1) Can I still produce new thoughts? While she languished deeply in an ancient mire. Why not? You can produce new thoughts anywhere, BUT if you have become forgetful,

You can live with so many things renewing old mire into new. Good one.

You are ever green, young energetic and dynamic dear poet. But very unfortunately you have failed to comprehend me..stay always happy, blessed and enriched with your green gown.
