My Ballerina Girl Blues Poem by Barry Dummett

My Ballerina Girl Blues

It does not matter how we have both come to meet
As our pleasures are not just found on a bed sheet
Because of care and respect for each other's cravings
We are easily able to please and satisfy our longings
Now we must wait to enjoy some time together again
I am suffering here away from My Ballerina Girl again

What makes our mutual enjoyment so special and real
Is the time we take to arouse delight in the way we feel
That's why we enjoy our time together more than most
Pleasures I have given you are never for me to boast
When I remember your responses to my tongue again
Then I'm away alone with My Ballerina Girl Blues again

Think of me when you wear the necklace I gave you
Until we can join up again, once more, I will crave you
To visit you when I return, will satisfy me for a while
Once all my effort, has brought a glow to your smile
In your absence, I will think of you in high heel shoes
I must wait awhile longer with My Ballerina Girl Blues

Now we meet again, with you in your new white outfit
Such a delight to my eyes, I know it will be a tight fit
I lick my lips and moisten the pleasure of your treasure
Together again with care, a perfection by any measure
Now that my long wait is over, I will think of the views
Remembering a night that cured My Ballerina Girl Blues
