Mumbo Jumbo Poem by Paul Brookes

Mumbo Jumbo

no rhyme or reason just sewing words together in that haphazard way
with no hems, just raw edges, ragged rips, fraying and unravelling.

lava streaming but not cohesive hot and unfettered is not even playing with the form it is misusing it.
that is and is and is and is rushed repetition or not, trying to walk before
you can run.

a hazard of nonchalance or a happenstance of letters taken from a scrabble a sack that does not make it poetry
it makes it a jumble of incoherent thoughts with fraying at the edges.
