Mother My Hero Poem by Kevin Agaba

Mother My Hero

I've moved around this world
Searching for the most precious time
But the moments I have with you
Have turned out to be the best I ever had
Why can't I call you my hero.

The pain you bared to pass through
By carrying me in your womb
The blessing you showered me with
The love you showed me
Why can't I call you my hero.

You taught me how to love
Corrected me when I was wrong
A little spank from you was necessary
To put me right from my wrong doings
I cant stop calling you my hero.

When I was sick and weak
You were always there for me
When I fell down and cried
You brought me back on my feet
Why can't I call you my hero.
