Moral Oracle Poem by keith brown

Moral Oracle

Rating: 5.0

Moral oracle?

No one needs to go to the mountain,
to seek the oracle.
life's question mostly seem to me
some what, say? Rhetorical

Oracles?
They jump upon your screen
Full of wisdom - Full of light!
Full of visions in full colour,
clear as day - black as night
They sing their song, we follow on
We want to believe it's true
There's very little effort
In the soul searching that we do

So I'd rather climb the mountain high
Than listen to the scribes, that tell me what to do and
Tell me what to buy.
They assail my senses, destroy hard fought serene
Selling sheets and blankets and every thing between
Still I suppose it's entertainment of a kind,
I just had to scratch this itch

It's up to me I suppose! to press the on -off switch
