Modern Art Poem by Jayne Doe

Modern Art

Sideways eyes
Island souls
Plastered smiles
Just for show
Curtains drawn
Curtains closed
What's the difference
Nobody knows

I'm a modern piece of art
I end right where I start
I am whatever you want me to be
I am a little lost
Whatever, that's the cost
I am whatever you want me to be

Disarranged colors
Mixing together
Frame me now
So I will last,
People will speak
About what it means
Whatever is shown
May never be seen

I'm a modern piece of art
I end right where I start
I am whatever you want me to be
I am a little lost
Whatever, that's the cost
I am whatever you want me to be
