Misty - Our Border Collie Poem by Phil Soar

Misty - Our Border Collie

Our walks are now slow, not long as they were
Since Arthiritus took over and penalised her
She now struggles to run, but enjoys being out
Now age takes control and she hobbles about

Though her mind still insists that she's able to play
He legs will give in by the end of the day
Then she lies fast asleep on her memory foam bed
And she dreams of the days that she was able instead

We will cater forever with her needs and her time
As we care for this Collie, this old friend of mine
