Meaningless Love
I gave you everything I had,
But you walked out on me.
I held your hand through the day,
Until you gave it all away.
The days we spent in the sun,
Turned to black while I watched.
You swung and yelled,
But I dodged and cried.
Pretending that it was all a dream,
When it was probably my worst nightmare.
I gave you all my heart but it was obvious,
My love meant nothing to you.
