Manor's Last House Poem by Iwan Jaconiah

Manor's Last House

: a lovely dog

There is no smile at home
since you are not here.
Living without you, I am dying,
but life needs to continue for everyone.

Summer is here. I don't recognize
which path to the sea.
Sickness but not illness;
nobody knows life's destiny.

Love is like a candle,
sometimes I feel it, but often
it burns me during a long night.
Hope you were here again.

Day by day, I climb the tree
looking for you but nothing.
Closing the window,
let happiness be with us.

I open the door, a small grave
beside the garage only.
You were here; without
breathing and barking.

Now, autumn has come early.
I pick up leaves without a shadow;
walking to the valley, trying
to erase a memory.
