Made In Great Britain Poem by michael spangenberg

Made In Great Britain

RMS Titanic - British cruise liner
that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean
Early morning of 15 April 1912
Collision with an iceberg during
Maiden voyage from Southampton
to New York City, of the 2,224 passengers
inclusive of Leonardo diCaprio (da Vinci's son)
and crew aboard, more than 1,500 died
making it one of the deadliest commercial
peacetime maritime disasters.

Assisted by dishonest one-liners
A few years later in modern history
Passenger liner Brexit was made to cost-
Ineffectively cruise out of EU, Economy Class Only
To nonchalantly keep Great Britain imperial, and white.

Certified UK clown, Boris Johnson, consistently
Referenced to the UK government's erratic
Struggles with its opaque Brexit strategy
saying in a Shakespearean speech that Britain
would make a 'Titanic success' of Brexit.

George Osborne, former Treasury
Chief, quickly interjected: It sank.

Footnote - poetic variation based on Reuters: UK court
says Brexit needs parliament's approval, November 3,2016.
