Love's Deepest Pain
The mood is right,
All dreams thru Poetry
Have taken flight,
They take me back
To, you
In a way
That only Poetry
And true Love
Can do,
And I cry
Knowing that
My dream
Will not ever
In our time
Come true,
Now,
I feel
Like a child
With a broken doll
That won't
Come back to
Life,
No matter
What you do.
Now,
My life is tied
To the past
I could not face
But no longer
Can forget
Nor hide.
