Love's Delicate Presence Poem by Sandra Feldman

Love's Delicate Presence

Rating: 5.0

To get to the essence
Of your beloved presence
How many moon crescents
Have to pass by, be lost
How many Seas, Crossed?
Love is not easy,
To the sky it may ascend,
But as it tries to go higher
May also be irreparably,
Hurt and Lost,
Like a delicate flower,
Love, if continually
Tested and harassed,
Will make you lose
The One,
You love the most.
