You came to me
In dreams from
Far away,
The kind, once
In a lifetime,
The heart, sway,
Adoration
Was too mild a word,
To make you know
The emptiness,
You filled
By being near,
The skies you'd open
When your voice I'd
Hear!

One day, I looked
You were no longer
There,
Perfect dreams
Don't stay or care
They must return
To their eternal
Home,
So far away
In time and space,
This world too small
To hold, to capture
All their grace
