Lost And Found Poem by Hannah Davies

Lost And Found

Rating: 5.0

Dad, you'll always be my herro
You could never amount to zero.
You may not have always been there
But that doesn't mean that you didn't care.

You may have been the one that left
And to which you have no regret.
I know there's things that you find hard
But my love for you will never be barred.

Mum would slate you, put you down
Spread your bad name round the town.
I would stick up for you
What more could I do?

You are my Dad
Who I now know will always love me.
If I trust you with my heart
Just promise you won't break it apart!

Nicely done! Sounds like there is a lot of hurt there but also forgiveness. Awesome words. I look forward to reading more!
