A Good Thing Poem by Hannah Davies

A Good Thing

Rating: 5.0

I will always stand by you
Stick by your side like super-glue.
I'll come running when you shourt
I'll be there without a doubt.

I don't like to see you cry
I'd do anything for you, even die.
I want to hold you tight
Hug you through the night.

I don't want to let you go
I have got so much love to show.
I trust you with my heart
And have done from the start.

You make me feel alive
And helped me to survive.
You are so kind
And help me to unwind.

You have a magic touch
And I care for you so much.
I want to share with you the good and bad
To join in your laughter and cheer you up when you're sad.

But you hardly notice me
I wish there was more I could do to make you see.
I would do anything for you
Support you in whatever you do.

I thank you for being a friend
Someone on who I can always depend.
I'm glad of the day we met
You are a good thing in my life which I don't regret.

Another great poem great lady of the written right. Another tenner kind lady-You are talented of the written word. Hadda givvanother tenner hear. I myself enjoy mispelling words on purpose. There were a few typo's here-i'm not being critical but just tryin ta help here. Love can be blind even by one who cannot see the love of another good friend. God bless all poets-MJG.

You know what I recently put poems on here. But you out do me by so much. I really like how you thanked 'whoever' for being a good friend. This poem shows true talent I hope that you continue with writing poetry. Michelle J. Tolly
