Looking Thru The Mirror Poem by Karin Elizabeth Martin

Looking Thru The Mirror

Everyday and always I see what I thought was new to me
But as the images become clearer I know that they are memories
Some are shadows and even still there is a shimmer
The smells and sounds awake my senses and tease
Never alone as I visit these and new events
Recollections bring smiles and thoughts tease
Sharing them with you was sweet bliss and fortune
Not for a dime may they be traded or altered
If resurrection brings new life and meaning
All things learned by and shared with you
Shall be reincarnated by only love time and tragedy
For only then will all things revisited
Remind you of me when you rest in my chair
