Locust Poem by Jude Ogunade

Locust

Swarming legions of lust compulsion,
The reasons for every man’s want.
Insatiable darkness of every dark mind,
The insatiable darkness, harbinger of evil deeds!
The irresponsible father of matured delinquencies.
Locust with no season,
Locust for every season!
The insect that eats even in the dark!
Dirty desires creeping into men's closets,
Destroyer of every form of sanctity,
The glutton of every wanton desire!
Locust,
Locust,
Locust, will you not stop even for a season?
And allow men even a moment of reason.
