Little Lady Poem by Sujeet Asif

Little Lady

Rating: 5.0

As holy as saint the lady was she,
As soft as floss was her body be,
Small in stature and thin in figure,
The day I saw her had my presumptions,
Smiling and happy was her aura,
With glistening hairs and shining eyes,
She looked at me with a smile,

Called me kenkara to her daughter,
With confidence I said find a better one for your daughter,
With pun I reminder you won't get a better one.
The matter dispersed and the bride was gone,
Yet I prayed that I will win her over,

The mother will be mine if I am true,
I longed for her blessings though,
Spoke to her twice or thrice,
The good soul accepted me as her third son,

I was the happiest to have one more mom.
She had an elder whom she adored
And a younger whom she loved
She longed for their love and care
And always remembered the good old days
When the family lived together.
The first instance she ignored on me,

But I was very notorious and sly.
With much effort i won her attention,
And then we all lived a happy family adventure.
She had a firm faith in someone called SHYAM,
With heart and soul she worshiped the god,
I knew that he will deceive her for sure,
And just not wanted her faith to be hollow,
She suffered and suffered at the hands of the tyranny,
With loss of hubby and loss of health,
But the little lady still believed upon him,

So much so that I also started believing,
Again the poor lady suffered a jolt,
With loss of a per-born soul,
Still she as a fortress stood,
With hope and love to share with her daughter,
But the mighty one was not over,
He had revenge in his heart and soul,
And again he inflicted her with pain and trouble,
The little lady tried hard to find win,
With six battled of life and death,
She emerged as winner from the SHYAM,
I was with her with my eyes on her,
I believe we were fighting together,
The little lady had a strong fervor.
Again the vicious with all his might,
Stuck her with a low cheap shot,
The little lady was left alone,
And succumbed to the mighty last blow,
If this is Victory for the SHYAM,
Then I smile and laugh on him aloud,
The little lady had won the bought,
Though the last shot has been lost.
If he is there then face the Son,
I challenge you to take me on,
I have my Mom with me now,
To take your kingdom down the drain.
Alas again the little lady sounds, Forgive Sin Son for I am Gone.., .....
