Lily And Her Moon- 04: The Separation Poem by Suratha Kumar Rout

Lily And Her Moon- 04: The Separation

Rating: 5.0

As the moon sets

In the horizon

In the far end

Of the sky

With tearful eyes

Lids heavy with

Pain of separation

Lips swollen with

Sorrow of parting

From her dream boy

Her loving prince Moon.

She bids a good bye

And returns back into

Her old costumes

Pale, lorn with tear

Gloomy, swollen eyes

And shrunk petal lips

The sad princess

With a broken heart.
