Stood still if not frozen, was my mind
Peeling down was each petal of time
Fixed ahead at the horizon was the light
It was the day, a day my dream chimed

Sands of the dune, were dripping fast
Slipping through my grip, never stopping
Running fast I was, the last for sure
A lone runner, me the only one against

At a bend stood a surprise, my life
asked if all was well, with a smile
weak at my knees, I cried hard to flee
was up, staring hard, the sorrows behind

Days ahead were only smiling, I still am
No one, but me ever had caused the gloom
Living on happy, always standing firm
It's a Turn up ahead, surprise awaits
