'Twas hard when we last met, meeting again is bleak;
Hundreds of flowers are falling in this east wind weak.
Spring silkworms spin till death, running out of yearning thread;
Burning candles weep, till no more tears they can shed.
At dawn, mirror would show her sad cloud-hair graying;
'Neath the moon, she would feel cold while poems reciting.
From here, the Enchanted Isle can't be far away --
O Bluebird, go and tell me what she has to say!
