Let There Be Light Poem by Hanan Muzafar

Let There Be Light

Alone in the chaos,
Who can stop,
What's meant to happen,
and what's going to come down,
and to the dust they'll return.

Everyone filled with greed;
Running after fate,
and Faith fights the darkness.

Looking for someone,
who can fill us:
A sinkhole going to consume,
All of them, All the way.

In mending the ways,
Only passing trails,
and up we go.

When everyone is in the sleep,
I know you're there,
watching over,
and we talk our grief.

Someday it'll burst out,
On its own,
and it'll ooze:
Let there be light.
