Let Me Sleep Tight Poem by Moom Rahaman

Let Me Sleep Tight

Mommy
Please provide me a pillow
You know, I can't sleep without pillow
And for God sake don't dressed me white
You know, I love colorful dresses
Put a little perfume on my neck
And for heaven's sake
Don't put me in a freezer
I hate colds
Don't allow them to do the autopsy
You know I am frightened
Mommy
O Mama
Kiss me as you did in my childhood
Ah, you forgot to adore me once I am grown
Just give me hug before I sleep
Request everyone to stay away
Can't take the crowd anymore
Mommy
O mama
Don't call me anymore
Don't scream or shout
I am just going home
Let my bed get ready
Put a Jasmine plant at head-side
You know, I love fragrance.
