Let Me Love You Poem by Bakare Oluwagbenga Michael

Let Me Love You

Of what is your heart made that this golden heart of mine cannot get?
My heart had never bowed to another yet your unconscious effort has bowed it to yours.
You never even care.
You've caused my heart to shatter and my eyes to weep;
So, let me cry a little;
Maybe, you'll look at me.
If you could just take a moment to look into my eyes, I will cry no more.
If you could just hold unto my hands, I will fall no more.
But if you could only give me your heart, I will love you more...
