Let It Sink Into The Underground Poem by Robert Hilary

Let It Sink Into The Underground

raging like the ocean, A shifting in the sands. the time glow illuminates the path. the future is clear, the time is now. choose! oh children of men! Rise up as one nation! conquer all that you see! and with one mind, see the destruction you bring! The hungered flames of greed, and lust burns in your hearts. And rage, consumes your soul. A thousand sins paint your chest, and your eyes, have fallen to darkness. Oh choose, dear child of men. lay down your contempt! Wield your Hope, your honor! stamp out the darkness in the day! and when the day has done let you die. For no man should be cursed to live forever. Let the day light die. let the light crawl into the dark spaces. shrouding the night in a sanguine dim, a solemn veil of quiet. quiet that even whispers the souls to sleep. so deep a sleep, shadows enveloping thought, mind, consciousness, life. Tearing away the soul of living man.Oh choose dear childs of men! hark ye not the dangers of past, the lives come and gone. into the darkness that all bare within. into the souls of the forgotten, who have forgotten the laws of all that stand. who have faded from the minds of divinity. who have slowly subjugated themselves into the service of the blood loving darkness, whose carnage shall wrought despair within the land. a decay that will twist the hearts of goodly man. and turn them to the shadow, of sin. but woe to you! child oh man! oh man so weak, so frail. for your already lost to the darkness, and no shadow can bring forth the evil in your hearts more than your lust, your desire, your greed. you are lost! oh phantoms of the earth. your fragile bones shall litter the streets of your broken cities, and your very own shadow, shall cover up all the sky, and darken the light of day. killing all that remains in your dreadful footsteps, raping the great earth of all that it does possess. and paint the world dead, with sin. and let it sink into the underground. let sink beyond all reach. let it sink into the underground. let it vanish into the darkness deep. let it sink into the underground, for all time that it may sleep. let it sink, let it sink, let it sink. into the depths of the underground. let it sink. let it sink. let it sink.
