Lean On Me. I Can Take It. Poem by Kiran Pillai

Lean On Me. I Can Take It.

Rating: 5.0

Looks like a Karma coming back
I made my parents worried with my head
Now my head got grounded and cooled down
But, the worry over others comes back

Maybe I am not the only one in my world
There are more people in my world along with me
We live with families and in a society
The lone wolf that was me has a pack now!

All the worry that others had due to me
Has to come back to me. I have to carry weight
I need to take care of people too. Take care!
I will take care of the small world around me.

It all starts with just the person first. World expands
I know the world around me is getting bigger
People in family, people at work. Responsibilities.
I will not buck. I will stand. This is me!

I am ready for the world now. Lean on me.
I can take some weight now. Lean on me.
I can teach a few things. Learn from me.
Lean on me. Learn from me. Believe me
