Lagos My City (Part 2) Poem by Oluwatobi Olaide

Lagos My City (Part 2)

Rating: 5.0

Lagos my hustle city.

A collective mad land,

Where there is food for lazy men,

Even animals hustle for their meals,

Where they have freedom till it's all festivities,
they become meals.

Lagos if you know your way you feed,

If you don't you beg to feed,

All na hustle.

Beautiful Lagos a house to all,

A home to a few.

When am away you remind me of all I have missed,

Centre of excellence ha ha.

Here, Traffic my daily karma,

Carbon monoxide padi like no other,

Noise pollution can't cheat on you,

All na hustle.

My Lagos,

EKO lon pe ibi,

My hustle city,

Where else in NAIJA would I rather be.
